Personaggi visualizzati: 4
#76 - Anna Goodwin, The director of the press agency (Character played by N. R.)
Motto: Do you know what it means to tell the truth? It means to be in debt to those who do not want it to be told. Origin: Guests - Group: The Press - Gender: female - Età dell'interprete: Any age
Teaser: You still remember what drove you to your work. The first time you had set foot in a graphic workshop, you were inebriated by the scent of freshly printed paper and the noise of the machines that produced copies of news, news which everyone would read and which would influence people's thinking. No one is able to understand the power of the press and the attraction that the ideal of truth has: this is a fortune just privy to true journalists. That girl now seems to be so far from you, relegated to a corner of your mind and forced to clash every day with another, older and more mature yourself. Closed in your study, illuminated by the light above your typewriter, you are intent on fighting a bigger struggle, where you seem to have won the responsibility of what must be written rather than the search for Truth without influences. Today, more than ever, that Girl seems so far that you doubt she's ever existed. The awareness that on the sheet the characters should be written in shades of gray, rather than in black on white, to really represent the world, is so strong to make you forget every disturbance. The world is made of compromises and you can not chase a dream.
KEY WORDS: regret, cheating, doubt, manipulation, truth
Contacts: You are the director of the most famous Press agency in the city. Gabriel Fahrenheit always refers to you for advice. You always push Jane Snapshot Bradford to give her best, most of your services are based on her stolen pictures. Norman Baker is a good man and tries to do his job at his best. You have quite a few arguments instead with Rita the Voice Kaufman, that woman might not have understood who really commands in here. You found yourself dealing with a dispute between Violet Campbell and Nathan Ross. You're worried about your brother Archie Goodwin, you had wished for something different for him.
#77 - Rita ''the Voice'' Kaufman, The radio speaker (Character played by M. M.)
Motto: The Rock will shake the hearts and the Roll will blow the world in. Nothing will be like before anymore ... Listen to the Rock n Roll, baby, it knows what's best.. -Eddie and the Riots- Origin: Guests - Group: The Press - Gender: female - Età dell'interprete: Any age
Teaser: For many listeners you are now like an abstract entity travelling through the ether, friendly and reassuring. For them you are simply ''The Voice'', leading them during the day, informing them, entertaining them and wishing them a good night. Few people know who Rita really is, the woman behind the microphone: you do not spare a comment on any subject, but on your private life you have always maintained a certain caution. When the familiar ''On Air'' spy goes on, you forget everything else and let yourself be carried away by the sound of words. Over time you have learned the amazing power they have over people: they can simply entertain or change someone's day, they can change public opinion or raise the minds like on the crest of a tumultuous wave.
KEY WORDS: action, extroversion, politics, dialectics, conflict
Contacts: You interviewedBlake as a guest, the famous poet who publicly humiliated Ken Albright. You'd really like to give him the chance to replicate, just to see what he thinks. You consider Lynda Alger someone who knows her business, you admire her for her work and humanly, while you are more interested in Jane Bradford and her opinions on freedom of the press. Anna Goodwin, however, seems slimy, never says what she really thinks and you do not trust her completely. You met some of the celebrities of the moment, like Beatrix Stewart's husband, Martin, who seemed nice and kind to you. You do not like the style of Violet Campbell, a journalist who's a little too eager to put people's private life in the streets. Once he tried to dig into your privacy and you did not like it at all.
#78 - Jane ''Snapshot'' Bradford, The news photographer (Character played by M. W.)
Motto: From press fredom depends our own freedom. You can't restrict it without loosing it all together. Origin: Guests - Group: The Press - Gender: female - Età dell'interprete: Any age
Teaser: You are a staunch supporter of the need for information to be free and true: the public has the right to know in depth, and you are always ready to document with your photographs everything that sometimes the Great Powers do not want to make known to the medium and low bands of population. They have nicknamed you '' Snapshot '', criticizing your method of work, often based on stolen and sensationalistic shots, but you have adopted that derogatory nickname and in fact you have become very popular; although your courage has brought several enemies, many tremble when they see Snapshot appearing to document every dark side of the most delicate events and matters. No one has ever seen you without your trustworthy camera around your neck, which you consider almost as an extension of your body. No one will silence your voice, and nobody will obscure your pictures.
KEY WORDS: truth, courage, anti-conformism, sensationalism, enthusiasm
Contacts: The Agency with which you predominantly work is directed by Anna Goodwin, a smart woman who knows her job, you also appreciate Rita ''The Voice'' Kaufman, while you hate intensely Lynda Alger that you consider a champion of obscurantism. You are a frequent client to the bar where Samwell ''Martini'' Johnson works and you often enjoy long conversations with him.
#79 - Lynda Alger, The censor (Character played by M. J.)
Motto: Nobody invokes freedom of the press, if not those who want to abuse it Origin: Guests - Group: The Press - Gender: female - Età dell'interprete: Any age
Teaser: The great responsibility of the task that has been reserved to you is something that most do not understand. ''The Censor'' they call you, you are the ax that cuts the information according to the wishes of the Demetra board, even if almost no one has had the courage to tell you that nickname in the face, fearing the consequences of an open challenge. They talk about you and do not understand, in the narrowness of their vision, the delicacy of your action: from the way and type of information that comes out to the public, from the timing used to give a certain announcement, depends the fate of many people and the security of thousands of lives, many of them unconscious of the fact that it's your hand keeping them safe. You give your daily contribution, unceasingly selecting what is useful to spread from what instead constitutes a potential danger. Seditious revolutionaries and anti-social often use the shield of a hypothetical ''freedom of press'' to try to convey their messages of hate, but fortunately you are always in your place, to watch, article after article, line by line, word after word.
KEY WORDS: control, loyalty, conscience, constancy, responsibility.
Contacts: You know well Selene White, she is your point of reference within Demetra. Several people operate within the Agency you work with, starting with the Director Anna Goodwin, a woman doing well her job, as well as Rita ''The Voice'' Kaufman, although something in you remains unspecified about her. Instead Jane Bradford with her speeches on freedom of the press and other amenities gives you more than a headache. You have cordial relations with Nick Fitzgerald.
